(2) Replacing HALL sensor
- Before detaching a PI sensor, mark the position of the sensor along its boundary with
a sharp tool such as a cutter knife. Then you can assemble a new sensor at the most
close position with the original one.
- Disconnect the connector of the HALL sensor board.
- Unscrew and remove the HALL sensor board.
- Screw a new HALL sensor board slightly at the position where a defective board’s
been removed.
- By referring the marks of original position of replaced sensor board, fix the new
board firmly.
- Connect the connector of the new sensor board.
- Turn on the power and check if the initialization sequence is performed correctly. All
the open apertures of the disks should be aligned concentric after the initialization
sequence. Otherwise contact the customer service department at Huvitz for further
measurement and instructions.
- Execute the Engineer Menu mode on the Operation Panel.
- Execute the Test Mode function.
- Check the PI sensor value and if the sensor is detecting its origin correctly.
