GENERAL PROCEDURES

Workshop Manual  Ed. 09-2012

-  Disconnect the fuel pipe (12) by pressing the ring nut (5) and lifting the union 

(6).

-  Disconnect the connector (7) from the fuel pump.

-   Unscrew the two screws (8) on both sides that secure the upper part of the 

rear chassis and loosen the lower screws (9).

-   Lower the rear chassis with the tank and place it with a support on the rear 

wheel and then unscrew the lower screws (9).

   When lowering the chassis, the tank interferes with the filter box 

and the fuel delivery pipe; make sure you do not break the pipe 

fitting on the throttle body.
