SETTINGS AND ADJUSTMENTS

-   Loosen the clamp (9) and remove the intake coupling (10) from the cylinder 

head.

 

When refitting the intake coupling (10) make sure you place the 

prong (A) on the slot (B) of the intake manifold.

-   Disconnect the cylinder head from the electrical system.

-   Move the two pipes (11) of the ABS  to unscrew the screw (12), then un-

screw the screws (13) and remove them.

-  

Remove the head cover (14) at the back of the motorcycle; if this is difficult, 

remove the intake manifold (15) by unscrewing the corresponding screws 

without losing the corresponding gaskets.

-   Adjust valve clearance as described in the relevant paragraph in Section F.
