Main work
–
Remove screws

Take off outer tube

Remove glass fiber yarn filling

from inner tube

–
Clean the parts that need to be reinstalled and check for
damage.
–
Mount the new glass fiber yarn filling on the inner tube.
Info
Mount the glass fiber yarn filling so that the thermal
protection foil is positioned on the right in the direction
of travel.
–
Slide outer tube over the inner tube with the new glass fiber
yarn filling.
Info
Seal the connecting cap

to the outer tube with sili-
cone.
–
Mount and tighten the screws.
Guideline
Screw, main silencer M5 7 Nm (5.2 lbf ft)
Finishing work
–
Install the main silencer. ( p. 61)
–
Install the right side cover. ( p. 63)
