Mount valve keys (D.

Info

When mounting the valve keys, check that they are
seated correctly; preferably, fix the valve keys to the
valve with a little grease.

Position cam levers

in the positions they had before they

were removed.

Mount the cam lever shafts.
Remove screw

Mount and tighten screw plugs

with the O-rings.

Guideline

Screw plug, cam

10 Nm (7.4 lbf ft)

Place the shims in the valve spring retainers corresponding to
their installation position.

Insert freewheel gear

into the freewheel hub, turning the

freewheel gear clockwise; do not wedge.

Check the locking action of the starter idler gear

The freewheel gear cannot be turned clockwise and does
not block counterclockwise:

Change the freewheel.

Remove lock ring
