Stand the vehicle upright.

Manually press the brake caliper toward the brake disc to
push back the brake piston. Ensure that brake fluid does
not flow out of the brake fluid reservoir, if necessary extract
excess.

Make sure that you do not press the brake caliper
against the spokes when pushing back the brake pis

Remove cotter pin@), pull out pin

and remove the brake
linings.

Clean the brake caliper and brake caliper bracket.

Check that spring plate

Insert the new brake linings, insert pin

and mount cotter

Always change the brake linings in pairs.
Make sure that decoupling plate @ is mounted on
the piston side brake lining.

Operate the foot brake lever repeatedly until the brake lin
ings are in contact with the brake disc and there is a pressure
point.
