Checking Engine Oil Level
1. Park machine safely.
2. Check when engine is cool before use or allow engine to cool.
3. Clean area around dipstick to prevent debris from falling into crankcase.
4. Remove dipstick. Wipe with a clean cloth.
5. Install dipstick fully.
6. Remove dipstick and check oil level on dipstick. Oil must be between
the ADD and FULL marks.
• If oil is low, add oil to bring oil level no higher than the FULL mark on
dipstick.
• If oil level is above the FULL mark, drain to proper level.
Changing Engine Oil and Filter
IMPORTANT: Avoid Damage! Change the oil more often if the
machine is used in extreme conditions:
Extremely dusty conditions.
Frequent slow or low-speed operation.
Frequent short trips.
1. Park machine safely.
2. Clean area around dipstick, filler cap and filter.
3. Make sure engine is cool.
4. Put oil drain pan underneath engine.
