Giving the Floor
During a conference, the chair site can give the floor to a site. Then all sites have muted
microphones except for the chair site and the site having the floor. When a site has the floor,
all sites are forced to view that site.
Broadcasting a Site
The chair site can force all the other sites in the conference to view a single site. While a site
is being broadcast, all sites have unmuted microphones.
Muting and Unmuting Microphones
A user can use the touch panel to mute and unmute all local microphones, or press the
microphone mute buttons at the conference tabletop to mute and unmute individual
microphones. During a multipoint conference, the chair site can mute and unmute the
microphones of any site.
Viewing Sites in Turn
Viewing sites in turn enables all participating sites to be displayed one by one for a
user-defined interval on the HD displays at the chair site.
Disconnecting a Site
The chair site can disconnect any site from the conference. After a site is disconnected, its
icon remains in the site list on the conference control screen. The chair site can recall the site
into the conference.
Calling a Site
The chair site can call an absent site into the conference.
Deleting a Site
The chair site can delete participating sites from the conference. After a site is deleted, its icon
is no longer displayed on the conference control screen. To recall the site into the conference,
the chair site needs to add it once again.
Adding a Site
During a multipoint conference, the chair site can add sites to the conference using the
contacts list or keypad from the touch panel.
Extending a Conference
The duration of a scheduled conference is user-defined, while that of an instant conference is
120 minutes by default. The chair site can extend the conference when required.
