If the WAN is a DDN, please connect the cable to the interface of the CSU/DSU
(data conversion device).

If the WAN is a dialup line, please connect the cable to the serial interface of the
analog Modem.
Step 3: Power on the router, and check the status of READY indicator on the front panel
of the router. It is on when the module has completed self-check and works normally. It
is off when the module fails to pass the self-check. In this case, please contact the local
agent of Huawei.
Step 4: Power on the router, and check the status of the LINK indicator of 2SA. It is off
when the line is faulty and signal is out of step.
Caution:
When connecting the cables, observe the identifiers on the interfaces to avoid wrong connection and
damage to the module and the router.
II. Connecting interface cable of 4SA module
Step 1: Plug the DB-100 end of connection cable of 4SA module to the corresponding
DB-100 interface, and then screw up the knob to fix the cable.
Step 2: Connect the other end of the interface cable to the following equipment:
