3.4.2 Configuring the Voice Mailbox Key
The
MSG
keys on eSpace 6805 are voice mailbox keys. By using the voice mailbox key, you
can enter the voice mailbox and retrieve voice messages according to the IVP prompt
messages.
1.
Configure the voice mailbox key on the Web page of IP phones according to the number
for retrieving voice messages in the voice leave system. For the number for retrieving
voice messages, see the prefix for retrieving voice messages configured on the eSpace
U19xx.

When a new voice message is received, the message waiting indicator (MWI) on an IP
phone becomes on if you have subscribed to the MWI service. Then you can press the
voice mailbox key to log in to the voice mailbox.

Before you use the MWI service, make sure that
SUBSCRIBE for MWI
on the Accounts tab
page of the IP phone is enabled.
3.4.3 Configuring the Time on an IP Phone
Perform the following steps to obtain the network time through NTP:
1.
Access the web configuration page of the phone. On the
Settings
>
Date and Time
page,
set
NTP Server
to the NTP server address.
In general, a computer using the Windows XP operating system, the eSpace U19xx, or a router can act
as an NTP server to provide the time for IP phones.

Click
Save and Apply

Set
Time Zone
according to the actual time zone of the office.
