5.13.3 Microphone Array Connections
A HUAWEI VPM220 wired microphone array can be connected to a Box 700 as a sound
pickup device in a meeting room. For a particularly large meeting room with participants
scattered throughout the room, multiple microphones (up to three) can be connected to
improve sound detection. The maximum distance between two connected VPM220s is 12 m,
and the recommended distance is 3 m to 6 m.
5.13.4 Multiple Layouts
You can adjust the screen's layout to display the video, presentation and whiteboard on one
screen.
Non-SVC Meetings
The available layouts are as follows:

Full screen: displays the participant's video, shared content, or whiteboard in full-screen
mode.
l
PiP: includes one full-screen video and one small window that can be placed in any of
the four corners. By default, the small window lies in the upper right corner, and its size
is about 1/16 of the large window.
l
Picture out Picture (PoP): includes two, three, or more separate windows.
SVC Meetings
The available layouts are as follows:
l
Presenter view: displays one large window and multiple small windows. The whiteboard
or presentation shared in a meeting is displayed in the large window by default.
l
PiP: includes one full-screen video and one small window that can be placed in any of
the four corners. The small window can also be hidden. The whiteboard or presentation
shared in a meeting is displayed in full screen by default.
l
Gallery view: displays all participants separately in panes that are equal in size. The
shared content such as whiteboard or presentation is also taken as a participant and
displayed in a pane.
5.13.5 Network Adaptability
With strong network adaptability, the Box 700 is able to provide high-quality HD images even
when the bandwidth is low or the network is unstable.

The Box 700 utilizes Super Error Concealment (SEC), Hybrid Automatic Repeat
Request (HARQ), and automatic deceleration to deliver clear and smooth video even
when the packet loss rate reaches 30%.
l
The Opus high-quality codec, netATE, and AJB are supported to reduce the packet loss
rate and improve audio quality.
