Content Sharing over a Cable Connection
You can connect your Box 700 to a computer through the HDMI or VGA port to share the
computer desktop. If no participants are sharing content in a meeting, your Box 700 starts
sharing content after the computer is connected. If someone is sharing content when your Box
700 and computer are connected, you will be asked to confirm whether to start sharing
content.
Reverse Control
After you share content on a computer over a cable connection or using the AirPresence PC
client or AirPresence Key, you can use the IWB touchscreen (or connect to a keyboard or
mouse) to control the desktop of the computer. This allows you to perform click, drag, and
double-click operations, edit content, and share applications. When you use the AirPresence
PC client or AirPresence Key to share a PPT file, you can turn pages and end the slide show.
5.16 Interoperability Between Data Collaboration and
Content Sharing
If the Cloud Multipoint Control Unit (CloudMCU) is available for data conferencing, the Box
700 supports interoperability between whiteboard or annotation sharing and content or data
sharing.
l
Users of video conferencing endpoints and telepresence systems with only the content
sharing capability view the whiteboards and annotations shared by the Box 700 as shared
content. Box 700 users directly view the shared content of the video conferencing
endpoints and telepresence systems.
l
Users of the TE WebClient and other soft clients that support data conferencing view the
whiteboards and annotations shared by the Box 700. The Box 700 users can also view
the shared desktops, documents, whiteboards, programs, and media of the TE WebClient
and other data conferencing soft clients.
