7.2 Maintenance and Upgrade
The Box 700 can record system logs and perform system diagnostics. The SMC2.0 can be
used for automatic inspection on the Box 700. In addition, the SMC2.0 can be used to
upgrade the Box 700 software and connected camera.
7.2.1 Log Management
The Box 700 records logs about operations and system errors, helping the administrator
maintain the system and locate faults.
Logs are stored as files. On the web interface of the Box 700, the administrator can query,
export, or delete logs of a specified time frame or all logs.
7.2.2 System Diagnostics
The Box 700 can detect the status of hardware running, network connection, audio input/
output, video input/output, common parameter configuration, and server registration to help
users locate faults.
7.2.3 Inspection
The SMC2.0 and eSight can automatically check the following items on the Box 700:

IP line status
l
System software version
l
System performance, including the temperature and fan status
l
Registration status

SMC2.0: Check the H.323 and SIP registration status.

eSight: Check the SIP registration status.
