Removing and Replacing a Tape Drive
To remove a tape drive:
1.
Turn off the power to the Library.
2.
Unplug the Library from the power source.
3.
Unplug the robotics ribbon cable from the controller board (see Figure 5-10).
4.
Remove the brace plate (see Figure 5-10).

Remove the two upper drive mounting plate screws (see Figure 5-11).

Lift out the upper drive mounting plate (see Figure 5-11).
