dhcp
: Specifies the interface to obtain an IP address through DHCP.
ip-address
ip-address
: Specifies an IP address for VLAN-interface 1 in dotted decimal notation.
mask
: Subnet mask in dotted decimal notation.
mask-length
: Subnet mask length, the number of consecutive ones in the mask, in the range of 0 to 32.
default-gateway
ip-address
: Specifies the IP address of the default gateway or the IP address of the
outbound interface. With this argument and keyword combination configured, the command not only
assigns an IP address to the interface, but also specifies a default route for the device.
Description
Use the
ipsetup dhcp
command to specify VLAN-interface 1 to obtain an IP address through DHCP.
Use the
ipsetup ip address
ip-address
{
mask
|
mask-length
} command to assign an IP address to
VLAN-interface 1.
By default, the device automatically obtains its IP address through DHCP; if fails, it uses the assigned default
IP address. For more information, see

If there is no VLAN-interface 1, either command creates VLAN-interface 1 first, and then specifies its IP
address.
Examples
# Create VLAN-interface 1 and specify the interface to obtain an IP address through DHCP.

# Create VLAN-interface 1 and assign 192.168.1.2 to the interface, and specify 192.168.1.1 as the
default gateway.
