Library Installation

Overview

To install the library:

1. Choose a location.

2. Prepare library components.

3. Install the host SCSI card(s).

4. Mount the library in a rack (rack mount configuration only).

5. Set the SCSI interface mode switch.

6. Connect the library to the host.

7. Connect power.

8. Configure the host.

This chapter also explains how to move or ship the library.

NOTE

Installation must be performed by HP qualified personnel.
