IMPORTANT:
This installation uses the SAS cable supplied with the tape drive to connect to an internal port on the host
SAS controller. It does not modify your existing SAS con
fi
guration.

Connect the SAS cable supplied with the tape drive to the spare SAS port on the host SAS controller.

Connect the other end of the SAS cable to the tape drive and connect a spare power cord from the
server’s internal power supply to the power connector on the tape drive.
