Hardware Options Installation

Slide the drive into the drive bay (1), and then secure it with two screws on each
side of the drive compartment (2).

Figure 3-10: Installing a 3.5-inch hard drive

Slide the drive compartment back into the chassis, and then replace the three
shipping screws.

Connect the power and data cables to the back of all devices. Refer to Chapter 4,
“Cabling Guidelines,” for cabling information specific to the server model.

Replace the access panel and the front bezel.
