Configuring the Server

The server setup utility, RBSU, can be used to configure the server and options. To
initiate RBSU, press the F9 key when prompted during start up.

The SmartStart CD contains ROMPaq and updated drivers, and assists with operating
system installation. To use the SmartStart CD:

Locate the SmartStart CD in the ProLiant Essentials Foundation Pack.

Power up the server, and then press the CD-ROM drive eject button.

Insert the SmartStart CD into the CD-ROM drive with the labeled side up.
Handle the CD by its edges, not by the flat surfaces of the disc.

When the busy indicator on the CD-ROM turns green, the SmartStart sequence
begins. Refer to the SmartStart CD for more information.
