Removing and replacing the 10SFF drive backplane
CAUTION:
To prevent damage to electrical components, take the appropriate anti-static precautions before
beginning any system installation. Improper grounding can cause electrostatic discharge.
Procedure
1.
Back up all server data.

Do one of the following:
•
Extend the server from the rack

•
Remove the server from the rack
5.
Remove all drives and drive blanks.
Note where each drive is located.
6.
Disconnect all cables from the drive backplane.
7.
Remove the drive backplane.
