11. Save and exit the BIOS Setup utility.
12. When prompted for a driver disk, select the driver disk provided by the
hardware manufacturer, then click OK.
13. Enter the directory of the infrared drivers (\Omnibook\Drivers\Win95\Fastir) and
click OK.
14. Go to \Omnibook\Drivers\Win95\Irda and run SETUP.
15. Click Next to run the Add Infrared Device Wizard.
16. Click Next to accept the built-in infrared port on laptop.
17. Select SMC IrCC (Fast Infrared) Hardware and Driver, then click Next.
18. Click Next to accept the default ports (COM4 and LPT3).
19. Click Finish, then run Windows Explorer.
20. From the View menu click Options.
21. Select Show all Files and deselect Hide MS-DOS file extensions for file types that
are registered, then click OK.
22. Right-click on SMCIRLAP.INF in the \Omnibook\Drivers\Win95\Fastir directory.
23. Click Install off the pop-up menu.
24. If prompted for the location of SMCIRLAP.INF enter
\Omnibook\Drivers\Win95\Fastir, then click OK.
25. Shut down and restart Windows 95.
