Using the Phone Features

Inserting a SIM Card

To insert the SIM card into the HP iPAQ, you must first remove the battery 

cover and the battery from the HP iPAQ.

On the back of your HP iPAQ, press down the battery 

cover latch

Use your thumb to slide the battery cover down and away from the 

HP iPAQ

. 

3.

Remove the battery.

NOTE: 

If the battery is already installed, you must remove it before 

inserting the SIM card. For more information on removing the battery, see 

Chapter 13, 

”Managing the Battery.”
