), during a ZDB session, Data Protector checks
if Oracle datafiles and the SPFILE are on the same source volumes. If the SPFILE and
datafiles are on the same volumes and instant recovery is enabled, the ZDB session
is aborted.
If the
ZDB_ORA_INCLUDE_SPF

, Data Protector skips the check.
IMPORTANT:
If the
ZDB_ORA_INCLUDE_SPF
variable is set to
1
and the SPFILE is on the same source
volumes as datafiles, it is overwritten during instant recovery.
