need be of no concern when prepar
ing recording areas for versus-time measurements. (For the recording areas
described and illustrated in the remainder of this manual, assume that the
zero and full-scale points have been positioned so clipping of the required
Quadrants or data points does not occur.)
The zero and full-scale points are located at their default positions following
power-up or front-panel initialization. For AlA4-size paper, the zero point is
located on the lower-left corner of the paper and the full-scale point is
located on the upper-right, as the following illustration shows. The result
ing coordinate system is oriented so that the X-axis is parallel
to
the long
axis of the paper. Similarly. for BIAS-size paper, the coordinate system is
oriented so that the X-axis is parallel
to
the paper's long axis.
