Instrument Controls, Indicators, and Connectors
The following list is intended to familiarize you with the location and
function of the
HP 7090
controls, indicators, and connectors. For a detailed
explanation of any listing, refer to the appropriate section of this manual.
Some of the pushbuttons described below serve two functions - the
secondary functions, (called
shift functions
and labeled in blue on the front
panel)
are
aecessed by first pressing the blue SHIFT push button to display
"SHIFT'
on the
LCO.
This manual uses the notation (SHIFT) before the
function title to denote shift functions.
The right front-panel controls and indicators are primarily
used
for setting
up the
HP 7090
before performing a measurement. For example, values
may be assigned to various setup condition parameters (e.g., range, offset),
trigger modes and conditions may be specified, and input channels may be
selected for plotting.
