Switch Management Processor Configuration (Basic) controls
Control Description
Telnet Access
Enables or disables Telnet access to the switch.
To activate this control, you must enable BBI configuration of Telnet from
the CLI (
/cfg/sys/access/tsbbi
).
Telnet Port (1-65535)
Sets an optional telnet server port number for cases where the server listens
for telnet sessions on a non-standard port. The default is 23.
TFTP Port (1-65535)
Sets an optional TFTP server port number for cases where the server listens
for TFTP sessions on a non-standard port. The default is 69.
Idle Timeout (1-60)
Sets the idle timeout for CLI sessions, from 1 to 60 minutes. The default is 5
minutes.
Timezone Location
Configures the time zone where the switch resides. You are prompted to
select your location (continent, country, region) by the timezone wizard.
Once a region is selected, the switch updates the time to reflect local
changes to Daylight Savings Time, etc.
Enable/Disable Daylight Savings Time Enables or disables Daylight Savings Time in the system clock. When
enabled, the switch adds an extra hour to the system clock so that it is
consistent with the local clock. The default setting is disabled.
