Combustion chamber tempera-
ture sensor defective
Boiler goes into burnout mode.
a) Press Reset key. Please contact the Hoval Customer Ser-
vice or the heating engineer if the fault reappears immedi-

b) Replace the combustion chamber temperature sensor.

or the heating engineer.
c) Limit switch defective. Inform the Hoval Customer Service
or the heating engineer.

Conveyor screw motor defect-
ive
Boiler goes into burnout mode.
Forced draught fan is turned off
immediately.
a) Press Reset key. Please contact the Hoval Customer Ser-
vice or the heating engineer if the fault reappears immedi-
ately afterwards or at regular intervals.
b) Replace the conveyor screw motor. Inform the Hoval Cus-
tomer Service or the heating engineer.
AL 016
Forced draught fan defective
The actual rpm is different from
the rpm setpoint. Boiler goes into
burnout mode.
a) Fan wheel and fan box are dirty - clean them (see sect.
4.7).
b) Replace the forced draught fan motor. Inform the Hoval
Customer Service or the heating engineer.
AL 037
The pellet feed flap does not
open after the pellet feed is com-
pleted
No pellet feed possible. Boiler does
not start.
a) Flap in the pellet feed unit does not open by itself - Clean
the flap and check that it can move freely (see sect. 4.10).
Press Reset key.
b) Vacuum turbine in the feed unit does not switch off. Unplug
connector from feed unit (see “Service and repairs” section
in the Installation Manual). c) Inform the Hoval Customer
Service or the heating engineer.
Emergency operation: Switch off the feed unit (see sect.
3.8.1.2). Fill the storage container with pellets manually. The
boiler can continue to operate without pellet feed.
