4. Burner pot
If the burner pot contains more than 4 cm of combustion residues above the grate, clean it as follows:
- Lift off the cone using the extraction tool (Figs. 108, 109).
- Scrape off any deposits from the cone. Clean all the sides, but especially the underside.
- Clean the burner pot with the vacuum cleaner, pull out the primary air nozzle and carefully clean the holes
(holes must be free).
- Use the extraction tool to lift off the grate from underneath (Figs. 108, 109). Remove the grate and scrape
off any ash deposits from the top and underside of the grate, as well as from the central hole.
- Clean the secondary air holes.
- Scrape off any combustion residues on the burner pot and on the grate with the spatula and remove with
a vacuum cleaner.
Use the vacuum cleaner to remove any ash from the primary air pipe (in the centre of the burner pot).
Reassembly:
- Insert the grate, making sure that the grate lug is passed through the burner pot opening engaging with
the shaker lever (Figs. 108, 109).
- Place the cone in the burner pot with the extraction tool. The slots on the cone must engage into the burner
arrest (Figs. 108, 109).
- Insert the primary air nozzle.
