Initial use

Do not use damp or wet Heat Socks as the heat transfer is increased by moisture and the risk of burns
therefore increases.
 Never use Heat Socks when under the influence of drugs or alcohol as this can increase skin sensitivity and/
or impair the ability to recognize the early warning sensations of a burn.
Drugs and alcohol can increase the risk of burns.

Do not use Heat Socks when sleeping.
The early warning sensation of a burn are:

A particular part of the foot becoming hot.
 A certain part of the foot feeling as if you are standing on a small stone or a sharp object - no matter whether
you can feel heat or not.

The colder the feet are, the more intense the feeling and sensation might be.
 The early warning sensations of a burn may differ from person to person.
