5 Cleaning
5.1 Cleaning Battery Packs XLP P Series
WARNING!
Risk of injury and burns if a Battery Pack short circuits.
Protect Battery Packs from moisture and the ingress of liquids.
Do not under any circumstances use an aggressive cleaning agent as this may damage the surface.
Clean Battery Packs using a dry cloth.
5.2 Care instructions for Heat Socks XLP
Strictly heed the care instructions!
Wash the Heat Socks only in the mesh bag!
Humidity and temperature levels may cause the color from the Heat Socks to transfer onto your
footwear. This is harmless and not covered by the guarantee. If you want to make sure that the color
does not transfer, we recommend machine washing and air drying the Heat Socks three times
before you first wear them. Be sure to follow the care instructions.
6 Storage
The Battery Packs should be stored switched off (all the LEDs off) and disconnected from the Recharger and
Heat Socks XLP with the Contact Protection Covers attached.
The ideal storage temperature for Battery Packs is between -20°C and +20°C (-4°F and + 68°F).
Do not store the Recharger in temperatures below -20 °C or above 65 °C
(-4°F or above +149°F) as this could cause damage.
Before putting the Battery Packs into storage for a long time (several months), they should only be half
charged (1st and 2nd LEDs light up red and 3rd LED flashes slowly) in order to increase the service life.
Store the Heat Socks XLP in a clean, dry place, out of direct sunlight, and not with the Heat Socks folded.
