7.2 Disposing of Battery Packs XLP P Series
Batteries must not be disposed of in normal domestic waste.
Defective or used Battery Packs must be recycled in accordance with the 2006/66/EC directive. The
consumer is obliged to return old Battery Packs to the point of sale or to give them to the local battery
return system in order to make sure they are disposed of properly. Recycle the Battery Packs in a
discharged state and with the contact protective covers attached to each Battery Pack.
