3.3 Charging XLP Battery Packs P Series
XLP Battery Packs must be charged before being used for the first time!
Put the appropriate plug adapter for your country [4 or 5] into the slot in the global USB Recharger
[3] until it audibly engages.
1)
Connect the USB Recharging Cable [6] to the USB Recharger [3].
2)
Connect the USB Recharger [3] to a plug socket. A small orange LED confirms the electrical power.

Remove the Contact Protection Covers [10] from the Battery Packs [7].
4)
Connect the Battery Packs [7] to the Recharging Plug [6].
Make sure to properly connect the USB Recharging Cable to the Battery Packs. Battery Packs can
be recharged when within the specified temperature range (see chapter 8.1, Technical specification,
page 29) regardless of remaining charge in Battery Packs and independently of each other.

Once the Battery Packs are connected to the USB Recharging Cable, all the heat setting LEDs flash semi-
quickly (every 0.3 seconds) for approximately 7 seconds; then the recharging process begins.
