when lifting or moving heavy, bulky parts.
Spring Balancer
1. Carefully pre-assemble the double spring balancer
assembly as shown.
2.
Raise and support the tongue at approximately a 30°.
angle.
3. Mount the balancer assembly spring end to the mount
plate on the tongue with the 5/8 x 1 1/2 bolt, lockwasher
and nut.

Tongue Assembly:
1.
Remove the 1 1/8” x 10 3/8” hex bolt from the tongue bracket assembly,
1. Position the tongue on the bracket assembly, and from the left side of the
tongue bracket, insert the hex bolt.
2. Thread the locking nut onto the
bolt and tighten until the bolt is
snug against the plates.
3.
Do not over tighten.
4. Attach the two safety chains to the chain
flanges on the tongue using the coupling
links on the chain. Assemble the link with
the coupling pin and locking collar as
shown.

4. Mount the opposite end to the mounting hole in the
tongue bracket with the 5/8 x 1 1/2 bolt, lockwasher and
nut.
5.
Increase spring tension by threading the 5/8” nuts on
eye bolts (approx. 2”- 3”) until tongue can be lifted
effortlessly.
6.
Ensure all assemblies move freely.
