¾
Place or remove the same number and colour
of clips on all hydraulic cylinders.
¾
Lower the cutting discs in working position
under pressure against the stop position.
¾
Set the control unit to floating position and
drive a few metres in the field.
¾
Check the submersion depth and the loosen-
ing effect of the cutting discs.
¾
Remove or put on clips as needed to increase
or reduce the working depth.
NOTE
The setting of the cutting discs must be adapted
to the soil conditions and can therefore only be
determined in working position in the field.
¾
Check the adjustment before starting work
and also regularly in-between.
Cleaning and maintenance
¾
Do not wash the bearing locations with high
pressure cleaners.
¾
Spray the bearings with rust dissolver or cor-
rosion protection agent before extended idle
times.
¾
Rotate the discs by hand and check for free
running before commissioning.
Settings
Cultivation tools
The waved discs cut through the soil and loosen
the seed bed.

Cutting discs
The coulter arms are mounted in maintenance
free rubber elements (1).
The harder the soil and the deeper the cultiva-
tion tools need to work, the higher the required
preload of the rubber elements.
Depth setting
The working depth of the cutting discs is ad-
justed with aluminium clips.
When lifting the machine, the hydraulic cylinders
extend and the cutting discs are raised.
When lowering, the hydraulic cylinders are
retracted to the stop position on the clips and
press the discs into the ground.
