Aligning the seed bar
The seed bar must be adjusted to the soil condi-
tions to allow adequate space for movement.
The parallelograms must be positioned hori-
zontally or with a downward tendency on level
ground when the seed bar is lowered:
To adjust, spacers or aluminium clips may be in-
serted or removed at the lift cylinders or hydraulic
cylinders of the support wheels. The more ele-
ments are placed, the higher the position of the
seed bar or the greater the space for movement
for the single-disc coulter.

Lift the seed bar.

Place the same number of spacers on the pis-
ton rods on both lift cylinders (1) and tighten.
Loosen the screws (3) for this purpose, repo-
sition the spacers and fasten with the screw
(4). Tighten the screw (3):

Place the same number of aluminium clips
on both hydraulic cylinders of the support
wheels (2).

Lower the seed bar and check the alignment
of the parallelograms
over the whole width
of the machine

Insert additional spacers and clips as needed
and check the setting once more.
NOTE
¾
Check the alignment of the seed bar before
starting to drill.
Drilling faults may occur under uneven condi-
tions when the alignment is not correct.
