Covering
The hopper is closed with a covering.
WARNING
Risk of injury when opening and closing the
covering

Do not let your hand or fingers get caught
between lid and hopper.
¾
Always keep the covering (3) closed to protect
the seed against contamination, dust and
moisture.
In case of extreme development of dust, this
dust can deposit in the hopper and fill up the
roller flutes. This causes metering errors and
unnecessary wear inside the metering unit.
Filling
The hopper can be filled from the rear with a
front loader of Big Packs or sacks. The hopper
can be filled from the side with Big Packs.
Discharge gate
A discharge gate is mounted on the side of the
hopper:

Loosen the interlocking (5).
¾
Pull up the discharge gate (6) to empty the
hopper.
Platform
DANGER
No passengers are allowed to ride on the
machine!
WARNING
Risk of injury on the platform
¾
Move and work carefully on the platform, es-
pecially in the area of the distributor.
¾
Instruct persons to leave the danger zone.
Make sure before movements of the machine
that no persons are about on the platform.
WARNING
Danger of traffic accidents caused by access
steps folded down.
¾
Always fold up the access step prior to road
transport.
¾
The interlocking must always engage audibly
and visibly after folding up the access steps.
