PTO-shaft drive (option)
The fan can alternatively also be driven by a
PTO-shaft pump.
Mounting the PTO-shaft pump

Danger of injuring during assembly

Before performing assembly work shut down
the tractor and pull off the ignition key!
¾
Never switch on the PTO-shaft with the en-
gine shut down!
¾
Before switching on the PTO-shaft make sure
that there are no persons in the danger zone
of the machine.
¾
Plug the pump on to the PTO-shaft.
¾
Adapt the universal anti-twist lock to the trac-
tor and fasten securely.
The pump must not move during operation,
otherwise shaft and bearings may be damaged!
NOTE
¾
Before switching on the PTO-shaft make
sure that the chosen PTO-shaft speed of the
tractor complies with the permissible speed
of the device.
¾
max. permissible speed of the PTO-shaft:
1 000 rpm
¾
max. speed of fan: 3 500 rpm
¾
Check all screw connections in regular in-
tervals.

1 Flow control valve

Select the correct speed of the PTO-shaft on
the tractor.
¾
Set the desired fan speed on the adjustable
flow control valve (1).
Parking position
¾
After parking the machine plug the pump on
the bracket:
PTO-shaft pump in parking position
WARNING
Risk of accident when driving with the PTO-shaft
pump in parking position
¾
Parking position must only be used with the
machine shut down!
¾
For road travel or in the field the pump should
always be mounted to the tractor!
