Locate the “IN” (left one shown in photo) and “EX” brass screws on the MAC Valve.

The “IN” screw controls the rate of “open” motion of the rotary actuator.

Turn the brass colored “EX” screw completely counter-clockwise.

Next, turn the brass colored “IN” screw completely clockwise, and then back out one turn.

Reattach the nitrogen source to the extractor and the controller and power on the unit.

Within the Envision Controller, load and run the Sample Drain method. Observe the Water-Inlet
Valve Actuator Shaft (directly in the middle of the Actuator) and confirm that the shaft rotates 90
degrees in one second. If necessary, adjust the “IN” screw in quarter-turn increments to increase the
speed that the valve opens.

Place the extractor cover on to the extractor, making sure that the front tabs are in place.

Starting with the top middle hole, replace the screws, but so not fully tighten until all screws are in
place.
