Solaris 7980g User Guide

4. Connect the USB cable to the USB port on the left side of the scanner, and then 

connect the interface cable to the auxiliary scanner.

Button Functionality

Note:

The 7980GEL does not support Button Functionality. 

There are two buttons on the front of the device. The following is a brief description 
of the settings for the buttons. 

Beeper Volume Adjustment

When Volume Adjustment is set to 

On

, pressing the Sound button repeatedly 

scrolls through the volume settings for the scanner’s beeper. When set to 

Off

, the 

Sound button does not scroll through these settings.
