Stages were commanded On after pressing the Enter key. The operator has to press the Prev Menu key to go back to the
TEST MODE Main Menu screen.
Fan
Select the Fan menu item from the TEST MODE Main Menu and then press the Enter key. If the Excel 10 was not configured
for a fan, the HHT speaker beeps to inform the operator and the display remains at the TEST MODE Main Menu. Otherwise
the HHT displays the following screen containing two sub-menu items.

The operator chooses the second selection Stopped and then presses the Enter key to make sure that the fan output is Off.
The display remains at the FAN menu after the Enter key is pressed. Select the Running selection and then press the Enter
key, the operator should verify that the fan output was commanded on. The operator has to press the Prev Menu to go back
to the TEST MODE Main Menu screen.
Calibrate Temp Sens
The Service Excel 10 menu allows the operator to display and calibrate temperature sensors. Select the Service Excel 10
menu item from the following MAIN MENU screen.

Select the Calibrate Temp Sens menu item and then press the Enter key. The following screen displays.

The Current Value: displays the temperature in the controllers memory after adding or subtracting any previous offset. The
Offset: displays any previous offset value. The operator enters a value measured by some means (for example a
thermometer or calibrated sensor) for the Measured Value: and then presses the Enter key. The HHT calculates and loads
the new offset (the HHT only allows an offset of
±

F) into the controller, then blanks out the Measured Value: and waits for
