Normal
The HHT puts the Excel 10 controller back into the Normal operating mode. If the operator chooses the Normal selection
under the BALANCE VAV menu heading, the display remains at the BALANCE VAV menu after the Enter key is pressed.
The Zero, Maximum, Minimum and Full Open selections under the BALANCE VAV menu heading puts the controller into
the manual mode which must be set back to the automatic mode (through the Normal selection) for Normal operation. If the
controller was in a manual mode before balancing (for example the manual damper position is set at 50%), the selection of
Normal puts the controller back into the Normal mode with the previous settings.
Zero
From the BALANCE VAV Main Menu, the operator can select the Zero menu item and then press the Enter key and the
following screen displays.

The HHT waits until the fully closed position and the additional 50.0% of the motor drive time expires and then writes ZERO
into the appropriate field automatically. The HHT remains in this sub-menu until the operator presses the Prev Menu key to
go back to the BALANCE VAV Main Menu to perform another balancing function. While in this sub-menu, the operator can
continue to monitor the Current CFM: to verify the zero air flow by pressing the Refresh key to update the display. The
