ICS switch (Intelligence Control System)
[HSM1380i]
Use the ICS switch to change the work mode (automatic adjustment)
of the snow thrower. The work mode can be selected from one of the
two modes of ON and OFF.
Push the ICS switch to turn the mode ON, the indicator (green) turns
on as a reminder. Push it once again to turn the mode OFF, and the
indicator also goes off.
Characteristics of ON mode:
• Travel speed is automatically adjusted according to the workload so
engine power can be maintained at or near the maximum level.
• Engine speed is automatically adjusted according to operating
conditions so the snow discharge distance remains constant that
have been set with the throttle control lever.
• The auger is automatically raised when the snow thrower is
reversing. In case the auger clutch switch is in the ON position, the
auger is automatically returned to the original position when the
snow thrower begins moving forward again (ETDR type).
Characteristics of OFF mode:
• No automatic adjustment is made. Manually adjust the engine speed
and travel speed according to the workload.
