SERVICING YOUR SNOW BLOWER
ENGINE OIL CHANGE
Drain the oil while the engine is still warm to assure rapid and
complete draining.
1. Place a suitable container below the engine to catch the used oil,
and then remove the oil filler cap/dipstick, 10 × 15 mm drain bolt,
and sealing washer.
To avoid loosening the 10 × 15 mm drain bolt extension, hold it with
a 17 mm wrench while loosening the drain bolt with a 10 mm
box-end wrench.
2. Allow the used oil to drain completely into an approved container,
and then reinstall the 10 × 15 mm drain bolt with a new sealing
washer, and tighten it securely.
TORQUE:
18 N∙m (1.8 kgf∙m, 13 lbf∙ft)
Improper disposal of engine oil can be harmful to the environment. If
you change your own oil, please dispose of used motor oil properly.
Put it in a sealed container, and take it to a recycling center. Do not
throw it in the trash, pour it on the ground, or pour it down a drain.
