VEHICLE CONTROLS
Learn about the various controls necessary for operating and driving the
vehicle.
Using the Smart Entry Remote
Lock or unlock the doors and trunk.

Leaving the smart entry remote in the vehicle can result in theft or accidental
movement of the vehicle. Always take it with you whenever you leave the
vehicle unattended.
NOTICE
Head-Up Display*
Shows the current mode for ACC with LSF, POWER/CHARGE gauge, traffic sign
recognition system, shift position indicator, or turn-by-turn directions along with
the vehicle speed. You can choose which item to be displayed using the
(HUD) button on the steering wheel. They are displayed when the power
mode is in ON.
To turn the head-up display on and off:
Press the HUD button on the driver
side control panel. The display can be moved up and down to come level
with your eyes.
To raise or lower the head-up display:
Press and hold the

until the desired position is reached.

Locking the doors:
Press the lock button once to lock all doors. Press
twice to hear audible verification for setting the security alarm.
Unlocking the doors:
Press once to unlock the driver’s door and fuel fill
door. Press twice to unlock remaining doors.
Unlocking the trunk:
Press the trunk release button for approximately
one second to unlock and open the trunk.
To engage panic mode:
Press the panic button once to sound the panic
alarm for approximately 30 seconds. Press any button on the remote
transmitter to cancel panic mode.
To engage the remote engine start:
Press the lock button, then press
and hold the engine button to turn the power system on for up to 10
minutes.
