Within Area Rules

This section is used to define prefixes within 
the local area code that you must dial “1” to 
reach (1-xxx-xxxx).

Viewing settings for within area rules

Procedure

1.

Press MENU until you reach the screen 
containing the Setup function.

2.

Press 9 (Setup)

3.

Press 2 (Network).

4.

Press 4 (Dialing rules).

5.

Press 2 (Within area rules).

6.

When the screen shown above is 
displayed, press 0 (Ok).

7.

The handset displays all local prefixes 
where dialing 1 is required.

Adding a 1+ local prefix

Procedure

1.

Press MENU until you reach the screen 
containing the Setup function.
