The Aladdin
system also automatically selects
one of a number of cameras that can be used to
aid the driver. When the system is turned
ON
,
placing the transmission in reverse selects the
backup camera. Activating a turn signal selects
the corresponding side camera. The driver’s
side camera will display if the hazard lights are
turned on.
Aladdin Controller:
The controller (located
on the driver console)
allows the operator to
control cursor movements.
Press the right arrow or
the center select button to
enter a menu item; press
the left arrow to return to
the previous menu. Press
the up or down arrows to
scroll through or change
information.
A LED provides system-on power indication.
The LED blinks whenever the controller is used,
and also every few seconds when the Aladdin
system is powered on.
Operations
The Aladdin
is turned on either with the
motorhome ignition switch or pressing the select
button on the controller. The Aladdin
will power
down when ignition is turned off unless the
select button is pressed.
Main Menu:
The main menu appears when the Aladdin
is powered on. Press the up or down arrows to
scroll through the menu. An arrow indicates
the current menu item. Press the select button
to enter any menu item. Press the left button to
return to the previous screen.
Engine/Trans Status:
Provides the operator with a single screen
display of current available engine and
transmission data. Compass heading and time
are displayed on each screen.
Press the right arrow to enter the navigation
display and press right again to show the
Engine/Trans Status screen. An enlarged engine
and transmission screen will display, showing
only four parameters at a time, with
fi
ve screens
available. The screens are automatically scanned
approximately every six seconds.
NOTE:
A sixth screen displays house battery
and solar information.
Press the up or down arrows to manually
move through the screens and disable automatic
scanning. Press the right arrow to resume
automatic scanning. Move the joystick left to
return to the previous all-in-one screen. Press
left again to return to the backup camera and
once again to return to the main menu.
