156 • SECTION 4 --- APPLIANCES
NEPTUNE 2004
• The refrigerator operates from LP-Gas or 120 Volts AC electric.
• DC voltage must be no higher than 15.4 Volts DC or lower than 10.5
Volts DC.
• AC voltage must be no higher than 132 Volts AC or lower than 108
Volts AC.
• It is important to operate the refrigerator only when level. Level the
refrigerator (from front view) within 3º side-to-side and 6º front-to-back
using a torpedo or bulls eye (fence post) level. Place the level on the
freezer plate. The level should be within the circle by a half of a bubble.
Generally, this is within comfortable living conditions.
NOTE: Operating the refrigerator "off level" separates the chemicals
that crystallize and block the circulation action of the cooling unit.
Damage is cumulative and irreversible.
WARNING: Do not use the refrigerator if there is an ammonia smell
inside or outside of the refrigerator, or if a yellowish substance appears
inside or at the outside access compartment. This can be an indication
of a refrigerant leak. Contact an authorized repair facility.
NOTE: To reduce the possibility of food spoilage, keep the interior box
temperature at or below 54º F. The refrigerator will consume more
energy to maintain low temperature, especially in hot, humid climates.
Lower temperature may also lead to quicker frost build-up.
In order for the refrigerator to operate:
• The house batteries must be charged.
• The primary LP-Gas valve must be on and the electric gas valve
must be on.
• The refrigerator AC cord(s) must be plugged in (located outside
behind refrigerator access door).
