1.
Make sure there is enough water in the water reservoir. If not, go to the
7.2 FILLING THE WATER RESERVOIR
section.
2. Place the iron upright.
3. The temperature control knob should be set at least to the

setting.
4. Plug the cord into an earthed power supply socket.
5. The indicator light will turn on. It will go out when the iron has reached the
desired temperature.
6. Press the steam burst button and direct the soleplate at the fabric.

The iron will give off steam only when in a horizontal position.

After you have finished steam ironing, move the steam burst power adjustment
slider to the position marked by the “no steam” symbol
