7.5 DRY IRONING
1. Place the iron upright.
2. Make sure that the iron has been correctly attached to the recharging base, and
the base lock remains in the locked padlock position.
3. Set the steam adjustment knob to the (no steam) position.
4. Connect the power cord plug to a grounded power outlet.
5. Set the desired ironing temperature by rotating the temperature control knob to
the selected position.
CAUTION! Water may remain in the water reservoir during dry ironing.
CAUTION! Before you start ironing, check the laundry care label for the
required ironing temperature.

If you do not know what fabric an article to be ironed is made of, determine
the right temperature by first ironing a small part that won’t be visible when
the article is worn.
CAUTION! Always start ironing with the articles that require the lowest ironing
temperature.
6. When the iron heating indicator light is on, it means the iron is connected to the
power source and is heating up to the temperature set with the control knob.
7. When this light goes off, it means that the iron has reached the desired
temperature.
7.6 SPRAY FUNCTION
This function may be used to eliminate the most stubborn wrinkles.
