to the mains.
6. Always disconnect the iron from the mains before filling
the water reservoir or pouring out any water remaining
in the reservoir.
7. The water inlet cover must not be open when the iron is
being used. Fill the water reservoir in accordance with
the description in the section 7.2 FILLING THE WATER
TANK
8. Use the iron with the included base.
9. When putting the iron on the base, make sure that the
base is situated on a stable surface.
10. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer, a service centre or a qualified
individual, so as to avoid hazard.
11. Only use the iron on a stable and flat surface. Put the
iron aside on such a surface as well.
12. Do not operate the iron if it has been dropped or if
evidence of damage or leakage is visible.
13. Please read this manual in its entirety before using the product.
14. Warning! Never touch the soleplate when the iron is on! Risk of burns!
15. Warning! Do not touch hot metal parts or hot water, and stay clear of
steam, to avoid burns or scalding.
16. We recommend, if possible, filling the water reservoir with distilled and/
or demineralised water.
17. Observe particular caution when there are children present in the vicinity
of the device.
18. Do not immerse the device, its power cord or plug in water or other liquids!
When pouring water into the reservoir, observe particular caution.
19. Do not touch the device with wet hands.
20. Never aim steam produced by the device at people or animals.
21.
Never aim the steam directly at electronic/electric devices or devices that
contain electrical components (TV set, radio receiver, electric stove).
22. Do not aim the steam at unprotected wooden surfaces, unsuitable grouts,
cold glass or plastics.
